This is how the 2025 Balboa 4-mile race went down. The masters race kicked off the day... highlights from the race included Chuck McKeown winning his age division and taking 2nd place overall. Edgar Diaz won his age division as well. On the women's side, Megan Lizotte won the race in 27:18. Amy Halseth and Margi Bell won their respective age divisions as well. From a team standpoint, the women's 40+, men's 50+, and men's 60+ teams took the team wins in those divisions. Special mention and welcome to Victor De La Paz who debuted for PRT in the masters 50+ division helping them secure the win with his 3rd place finish in that division.

Open race recap
Up next was the open race... the open women showed their depth this week by winning the race with a different lineup than they had a Wild Duck. Lisa Goodin once again led the way for the squad winning the race in 24:10. Rounding out the team was Lindsay Benster, Lauren Davis, Rebekah Bosler, and Bre Guzman. Shout out and welcome to Lauren on her first race with the team and making an immediate impact in the scoring. Well done team!
On the men's side, Zach Laurenzana led the way by winning his age division and finishing 6th overall. Rounding out the scoring was Will Gravelle, Flavio Ponzina, Zach Jaltecho, and Matt Nelli. The men's team took 2nd place in the open division. Nice work lads.
