Hometown: Born in Anaheim, CA, lived in Encinitas, CA since 1978

Background: I was a recreational runner until my late 50’s at which point I realized I could compete with the top runners in my age group. Since joining PRT, I have been competing both locally and nationally on a regular basis.

Racing Competitively Since: 2015 Dirt Dog XC series

Masters PRs:

5K: 18:53 (Carlsbad 5000, 2016, age 58) 

8K: 31:18 (USATF Masters Championships, 2018, age 60)

10K: 39:30 (Coronado Valentine's 10K, 2018, age 60)

Highlights:

Dirt Dog XC - finished third in the 60+ division for the 2018 series

USATF Club Nationals - finished twelfth place in age group in 2017

Carlsbad 5000 - finished fourth place in age group in 2016 and 2018
