Hometown: Farmington, CT/Boston, MA

Background: I ran competitively in high school (Farmington High) and college (Brown Unviersity). In college, I felt like I was too distracted by academics to really put enough effort into running. I'm aiming to make up for that now.

Racing Competitively Since: 2004

PRs:

3000 m: 9:59 (BU Valentine Meet (track), 2017)

5000 m: 16:54.6 (Oxy Invitational (track), 2018)

10K: 34:14 (Scripps Ranch Old Pros 10K, 2018)

Half Marathon: 1:16:18 (San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon, 2017)

Marathon: 2:42:37 (California International Marathon, 2018)

Highlights: Hartford Marathon Champion, 2016, 6th American at 2016 Boston Marathon

The Fun Questions:

Favorite Race: Boston Marathon and Scripps Ranch 10K

Favorite Workout: Descending Ladders (ex: 1600, 1200, 800, 600, 400, 200)

Why I Choose to Run for PRT: PRT is an amazing group of women and men, balancing serious training with impressive careers and families. It's the perfect environment to improve as a post-collegiate runner, with the support of super motivated teammates.

Favorite PRT Memory: Chatting pre and post (and during) Sunday long runs

What I Like to Do Besides Running: I spend most of my non-running, non-PhD student time hanging out in breweries with my husband Ryan while scheming our next trip to the mountains. We steal my brother's Westfalia camper van for most of these trips.
