Background: After running injured for my last 2 years of high school, I decided to take a break from it while attending college at Michigan State University.  Once in medical school, I found my way back to running as a convenient way to stay active despite a hectic schedule.  My subsequent move to San Diego, with its strong running community, inspired me to start training and racing at a more competitive level.

Favorite Race: Boston Marathon

Favorite Workout: long, marathon-paced tempo runs

Why Run For PRT?:  Because it is an incredible group of talented, inspiring and like-minded ladies (and guys!) who motivate me to strive for my best in life and in sport.

What I Like To Do Besides Running:  hang out with my little man, Graham, who just so happens to be the coolest person in the world.
